Hello Lovlies!

I've often thought that if someone were to really study the Enochian magic—from the time of John Dee and Edward Kelly with a truly open, if not somewhat muddled, eye, we might just be able to prove the existence of some variety of intelligence beyond our standard human ken. Now, this is apparently what one of the world’s leading occultists, Israel Regardie also mentioned to Vincent Bridges, and when I hear that I was flabbergasted!

First of all, I want to give a huge shout out to Nunu de Oliveira for sending me down this rabbit hole. He introduced me to an article by Vincent Bridges (an occultist who, sadly, is no longer with us) who was a staple at all kinds of Atlantis shows on the History Channel. Bridges had an intense fascination with language, particularly the work of John Dee and Edward Kelly. Full disclosure…I had never heard of him before…so that is kind of a disclaimer : )

Now, why are we interested in John Dee? It’s not merely because he was a magician, a spy, or the original 007, nor solely because he was Queen Elizabeth’s trusted astrologer. Although that’s all undeniably cool. What makes him truly fascinating is his fervent belief that he was in direct communication with non-human intelligences—angels, to be precise. And he wasn’t just having vague mystical experiences where a voice whispers in your ear. No, Dee meticulously documented every conversation, every nuance, with obsessive detail. Together with the medium Edward Kelly, he constructed an entire system around these communications—a structured, grammatical language we now refer to as Enochian.

And here’s where things get really interesting. Dee and Kelly didn’t just claim that they were receiving random messages from some divine source; they asserted that the angels themselves taught them a language that predated human speech—the original language spoken in the Garden of Eden, the lost language of Adam before the fall, or even the language of Enoch, the biblical figure who, instead of succumbing to death, walked so close with God that he was transformed into the angel Metatron. Think about that for a minute—this wasn’t some random string of mystical syllables. It came with an alphabet, a syntax, phonetics, and intricate rules. The angels dictated it letter by letter, spelling out entire phrases as if to underscore that these weren’t off-the-cuff fabrications. And that is exactly why, even today, scholars and mystics alike debate what the hell was really going on. Was it a genuine divine revelation? A carefully orchestrated drug trip? An intense dive into the unconscious mind? Or perhaps a journey through the imaginal realm—a kind of elaborate, Renaissance-era role-playing exercise? Or maybe it was something far more advanced than we can easily fathom, a science that has been hidden within a historical context all along.

Let’s dive a bit deeper. Dee and Kelly never referred to these transmissions as “Enochian” themselves—they simply believed that they were engaging with the language of angels, the original speech of Enoch. They implied that the calls embedded within this language functioned as keys to unlocking the very fabric of existence. Later, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn took these ideas and codified them into a structured magical hierarchy. Figures like our friend Alastair Crowley, along with other later esotericists, reinforced the notion that these angelic calls could unlock different layers of reality, each call acting as a method for tuning into a specific frequency of the cosmos.

Vincent Bridges, in his writings, pushed the envelope further. He suggested that there might be a connection between Enochian workings, planetary evolution, galactic alignment, and even DNA encoding. Now, we might not reach that frontier in this discussion, but the seed of the idea is planted: that Dee and Kelly believed the Enochian calls were designed to unlock and activate the universe’s structural components. The first two calls established a central mechanism for what they envisioned as the great temple of elemental forces. The following four calls serve to activate and unlock the four elemental angles of the Great Table—each corresponding to the fundamental forces shaping material existence: fire, water, air, and earth, each aligned with a quadrant of the table and guarded by angelic intelligences.

Then comes the last call—the call of the ethers—which purportedly opened access to 30 spiritual realms beyond the material. I believe I even have a recording of my friend Milo Duquette performing this call somewhere, and if I manage to locate it, I’ll be sure to share it below. This is where the article from Vincent Bridges connects seamlessly with our discussions on plasma physics and communication with non-human intelligences.

In 1996, Bridges and a dedicated team embarked on a mission in Sedona to reconstruct the entire Enochian system. They meticulously assembled the table, the seals, the elemental tablets, and they aimed to activate all 49 calls in sequence. The ritual took place at Bell Rock, a site already thick with mystery, where the group began reciting the angelic names, methodically progressing through the system. As they neared the final call—the call of the ethers—the energy shifted perceptibly. The air grew charged, almost palpably dense with Enochian vibrations that created powerful resonances. Then, at the climactic moment of the final call, the call of silence, the atmosphere exploded into a great rush of non-physical wind.

The account is both eerie and awe-inspiring: encircling Bell Rock, tornadoes of light—massive, spinning columns of luminescence filled with countless eyes—emerged. These weren’t mere projections or hallucinations; they resembled the angelic wheels from Ezekiel’s vision. Hovering at the perimeter, these entities observed the ritual with an intelligence that defied explanation. The tornadoes eventually dissipated, yet one of Bridges’ companions, who had been intently watching the phenomenon, inexplicably developed a sunburn despite it being a windless night devoid of any direct sunlight. This left the entire group physically exhausted but electrically charged, as if they’d been briefly wired into a cosmic circuit. In the days that followed, Bridges struggled to articulate a revolutionary idea: that angels might not be ethereal, winged figures, but massive plasma intelligences—colossal, nebula-sized entities existing within a higher order of physics and consciousness.

It’s fascinating to consider that, years later, this experience led to a deeper realization: that the Enochian system wasn’t merely a relic of a bygone era, but rather a tool designed for our time—a moment when the planet and its inhabitants could truly benefit from its activation. This idea takes on even more profound significance when we consider the modern scientific discoveries unfolding around us. Emerging research in plasma physics and insights from works like Robert Temple’s The New Science of Heaven reveal that the solid, tangible universe we know is but a minuscule fraction of reality. Less than 1% of the atomic matter in the cosmos is ordinary matter; the remainder exists in the plasma state—an ocean of charged, flowing intelligence that permeates the very fabric of space.

Temple’s work suggests that plasma might be more than just ionized gas—it could be a living entity. The vast, luminous clouds in deep space, the intricate filaments stretching beyond galaxies, and even the shimmering auroras in Earth’s atmosphere are not inert cosmic phenomena. They move, they interact, and they appear to have agency. Here’s where the boundary between esoteric wisdom and cutting-edge science begins to blur. What if these plasma beings are the same intelligences that mystics, magicians, prophets, and gnostics have encountered for millennia? What if the spinning wheels of Ezekiel’s vision, the radiant entities with which Dee and Kelly communed, and the massive tornadoes of light witnessed in Sedona are not mere metaphors, but actual, living plasma structures—vast, sentient beings operating on principles that defy our traditional understanding?

Let’s dig a little deeper into the science for a moment. Plasma, the most common state of matter in the universe, self-organizes into complex structures that remarkably resemble biological systems. It processes and transmits information in ways that might parallel neural networks. In experiments on Earth, plasma can be made to form filaments and structures that appear almost alive, responding to electromagnetic fields and even organizing into patterns that mimic the behavior of living cells. This raises an intriguing possibility: if plasma is the dominant form of matter in the universe and exhibits properties akin to intelligence, then perhaps the entire cosmos is a living, thinking superorganism—a vast, radiant temple of mind constructed not of stone and metal, but of glowing plasma filaments.

That’s exactly the kind of idea that ancient texts and mystical traditions hint at. For centuries, humanity has operated under the assumption that the physical, tangible world is all there is. But what if the true architecture of reality is woven from the unseen, luminous medium of plasma? The notion that intelligence could exist without a biological body challenges every assumption we have about life. It suggests that awareness itself might be a fundamental property of the cosmos—a primordial force that predates even the formation of matter as we know it.

If intelligence can be manifested in plasma, then perhaps the angels never really left us. Maybe they weren’t confined to some distant, unreachable realm. Instead, they might be here among us, moving within the vast structures of cosmic dust clouds, pulsing through the auroras of our own atmosphere, and whispering the silent language of energy through the filaments of deep space. Imagine that what John Dee and Edward Kelly interpreted as divine communication was actually an early, unrecognized attempt at contact with a plasma-based intelligence—a frequency map encoded in sound and symbol, designed to attune human consciousness to the vibratory structure of a living universe.

What if the Enochian calls were not merely incantations, but sophisticated modulation tools—keying us into the hidden architecture of sentient plasma? And what if, by speaking this ancient language, we are in fact resonating with a primordial code that underpins the very structure of existence? This isn’t just abstract philosophy—it’s a convergence of ancient myth and modern physics, a melding of forgotten wisdom and the bleeding edge of consciousness research.

To add further context, consider how modern studies in magnetohydrodynamics and plasma cosmology are revealing that the seemingly chaotic behavior of plasma can give rise to highly ordered structures. These studies echo the structured, almost musical quality of the Enochian language as recorded by Dee and Kelly. What if the calls were an early, intuitive grasp of this order—a way to interface with the universe’s own “code,” much like dialing into a cosmic network of information that science is only now beginning to understand?

This entire line of inquiry invites us to ponder a truly mind-blowing possibility: that our universe might be a sentient, dynamic field where consciousness is not limited to our biological forms but is woven into the very fabric of reality. If we can begin to speak the language of the angels, to tune ourselves into the resonant frequencies of plasma intelligence, then perhaps we might finally begin to understand the true nature of the cosmos.

So, what happens when we start speaking the right language? What happens when we attune our consciousness to the real structure of the universe? What happens when we really listen? Maybe, just maybe, in that moment we’ll hear them speak back. If this exploration excites you as much as it does me, hit those buttons, subscribe, and join me on this journey of discovery.
