I don't know about you, but today I am ANGRY.
I have been angry for a while, but the icing on the cake was a bitter, devastating tragedy in my husband's family a few days ago. It has left me resolute that we can do better, GDI, to ourselves and to each other. The problem is that, for some reason, we are choosing not to! We are choosing to operate at a subpar level of consciousness.
Need proof? Here is what Chat gave me as examples of operating at a subpar level of consciousness.....
Fear and Insecurity: They are frequently driven by fear and anxiety, reacting defensively to perceived threats, whether real or imagined. This fear can manifest as aggression, avoidance, or irrational behavior.
Ego-Centric Thinking: Their worldview tends to be self-centered, focusing primarily on their own needs and desires without much regard for others. This can lead to selfish actions and a lack of empathy.
Judgment and Criticism: They are quick to judge and criticize others, often seeing the world in black and white terms. This binary thinking can lead to intolerance and prejudice.
Victim Mentality: They often feel powerless and blame external circumstances or other people for their problems. This sense of victimhood prevents them from taking responsibility for their actions and hinders personal growth.
Resistance to Change: They are generally resistant to change and new ideas, clinging to familiar patterns and beliefs. This can result in stagnation and a reluctance to grow or improve.
Materialism and Immediate Gratification: Their focus is often on material possessions and immediate pleasures, seeking quick fixes rather than long-term fulfillment. This pursuit of short-term gains can lead to addictive behaviors and dissatisfaction.
Negative Emotions: They frequently experience and express negative emotions such as anger, jealousy, resentment, and bitterness. These emotions can dominate their interactions and relationships, leading to conflict and unhappiness.
Limited Perspective: Their understanding of the world is narrow and limited, often based on superficial observations rather than deeper insights. This lack of broader perspective can hinder their ability to see connections and understand the bigger picture.
Manipulation and Control: They may try to manipulate or control others to get what they want, using deceit or coercion. This behavior can damage trust and relationships, creating a cycle of mistrust and conflict.
Lack of Awareness: They are often unaware of their own thoughts, feelings, and motivations, operating on autopilot rather than through conscious decision-making. This lack of self-awareness can lead to repetitive, unproductive behaviours and an inability to learn from experiences.
Right?????
And the lies and deception... OMG I just cannot...
And even in writing, I am displaying my own surrender to anger!
The signs that we are not operating at a high level of consciousness are increasingly evident in the pervasive sense of collective anxiety, the widespread disconnection from authentic human experiences, and the rampant materialism that defines much of modern life. The constant barrage of sensationalist media, the relentless pursuit of superficial success, and the growing reliance on technology as a panacea for our problems all point to a society that has lost touch with deeper, spiritual truths. These manifestations are symptoms of a lack of higher consciousness, reflecting an existence mired in lower vibrational states characterized by fear, division, and ego-driven desires. This dissonance between our potential for spiritual elevation and our current state reminds me of a discussion with Joanna Kujawa about the new book she is writing that underscores the urgent need for a shift towards higher awareness and conscious living.
Joanna offered me a beacon of hope and direction to be sure. Her work delves deeply into the esoteric teachings of Mary Magdalene, something I did not even know existed, emphasizing the need for humanity to operate from the highest levels of consciousness.
Dr Joanna's journey began with the intriguing possibility that Mary Magdalene, following the event of the Resurrection, travelled to Alexandria, Egypt, and engaged in the practice of Spiritual Alchemy. This ancient city, a melting pot of spiritual and philosophical traditions, became a backdrop for Magdalene's teachings, which Dr Joanna believes were centred on degrees of Ascension, Ascension through levels of consciousness. Dr Joanna's understanding of these profound teachings has deepened significantly over 19 years of studying The Gospel of Mary Magdalene and 24 years of exploring Ascension techniques in various Esoteric Schools of Consciousness.
According to these esoteric teachings, the most critical aspect of life is not just the actions one takes but the level of consciousness from which these actions emanate.
Higher consciousness transcends the mundane concerns of daily life, reaching into the realms of spiritual enlightenment and universal understanding. It is the state in which one's awareness expands beyond the self, embracing a greater sense of unity and connection with all existence. Actions emerging from this elevated state are imbued with a purity of intention and a deep-seated wisdom that reflect the interconnectedness of all life.
With higher consciousness, the individual acts with a sense of purpose that aligns with the greater good. These actions are not merely for personal gain but are intended to uplift and benefit others, fostering a sense of collective well-being. Compassion flows naturally as empathy for others' experiences and struggles becomes an intrinsic part of one's perception. This compassionate approach transforms interactions, making them more meaningful and supportive.
Presence is a cornerstone of higher consciousness. When one is fully present, every action is performed with mindful attention and deep awareness. This presence infuses even the simplest tasks with a sense of sacredness, turning them into profound expressions of one's inner state.
The energy that accompanies such actions is palpable, resonating with those around and creating a ripple effect of positive influence.
Higher consciousness is also characterized by an alignment with universal principles such as love, truth, and wisdom. Actions guided by these principles are inherently harmonious and constructive, contributing to the growth and evolution of both the individual and the collective. In this state, one acts as a conduit for the greater cosmic intelligence, allowing for insights and solutions that transcend ordinary thinking.
Historically, figures who have embodied higher consciousness have left an indelible mark on the world. Their actions, rooted in deep spiritual awareness, have catalyzed profound social change and inspired countless others to seek higher ideals. These luminaries demonstrate that higher consciousness is not a passive state but an active force for transformation.
In everyday life, practicing higher consciousness means approaching each moment with intentionality and reverence. It involves cultivating mindfulness, engaging in regular self-reflection, and nurturing a connection with the divine or the higher self. By doing so, one can elevate their actions from the ordinary to the extraordinary, making a lasting impact on their surroundings and the broader world.
Ultimately, higher consciousness invites us to live in a way that honors the sacredness of all life. It challenges us to rise above ego-driven motives and to act from a place of love, wisdom, and Compassion. In this way, our actions become expressions of our highest potential, contributing to a more harmonious, enlightened, and connected world.
Sounds great right....But how to we get here????
Well, ages ago, when I ran The Great Network, a social network for people like us, a wonderful man called Dan taught me a meditation he called the Meditation of the God Kings. He invited me to meditate and view the world through the consciousness level of each of my chakras.
Viewing the world through the lens of each chakra provides a unique perspective on our interactions, motivations, and understanding of life.
Each chakra, corresponding to specific energy centres in the body, influences our perception and actions and how we would operate through each chakra:
Root Chakra (Muladhara)
Worldview: The world is seen primarily through a lens of survival and security. This perspective often leads to viewing life as a series of challenges and threats that must be managed or avoided.
Operation: Actions are dominated by the need to ensure physical survival and stability. This can result in a fear-driven mindset, where decisions are made based on anxiety about safety and material needs. Relationships and opportunities may be approached with caution or suspicion, limiting one's ability to trust and take risks.
Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)
Worldview: The world is perceived as a place to seek pleasure and emotional fulfillment. However, this can lead to overemphasising indulgence and the pursuit of instant gratification.
Operation: One's actions are heavily influenced by desires and emotions. This can result in impulsiveness and a tendency to prioritize short-term pleasure over long-term well-being. Relationships might become overly dependent on emotional highs, leading to instability and difficulty in maintaining balanced connections.
Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)
Worldview: The world is viewed as a battleground for power and control. The focus on personal power can lead to a competitive and domineering attitude.
Operation: Actions are driven by the need to assert dominance and achieve recognition. This can result in aggressive behavior and an overemphasis on ego. Relationships and interactions may be marked by power struggles and a lack of cooperation, hindering the development of genuine connections and mutual respect.
Heart Chakra (Anahata)
Worldview: The world is seen through the lens of love and compassion. While this chakra is more balanced, it can still present challenges if one becomes overly self-sacrificing.
Operation: Actions are motivated by a desire to nurture and support others. However, this can sometimes lead to neglecting one's own needs and boundaries, resulting in burnout or codependency. Relationships may become imbalanced if one consistently prioritizes others at their own expense.
Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)
Worldview: The world is a place for expression and communication. Misalignment can lead to difficulties in expressing oneself or fear of judgment.
Operation: When balanced, communication is clear and truthful. However, if blocked, there may be a tendency to suppress one's voice, leading to frustration and a sense of being unheard. Conversely, over-activation can result in speaking without consideration, potentially causing conflict and misunderstanding.
Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)
Worldview: The world is perceived as a realm of insight and intuition. Imbalance can cause confusion or detachment from reality.
Operation: Guided by inner wisdom and deeper understanding, one seeks truth and insight. However, an overactive third eye can lead to excessive daydreaming, over-reliance on intuition, and difficulty distinguishing between intuition and imagination, which can result in poor decision-making.
Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)
Worldview: The world is seen as a manifestation of divine consciousness. Disconnection can result in spiritual disorientation or a sense of meaninglessness.
Operation: When aligned, actions are driven by a sense of spiritual purpose and connection. However, if blocked, one may feel disconnected from spirituality and experience existential doubt. Overemphasis on this chakra can lead to neglecting practical aspects of life, resulting in a lack of grounding and difficulty functioning in the material world.
So, how do we move up on this ladder??
Dr Joanna asserts that it is up to us to utilize the spiritual tools that luminaries like Magdalen have left us. Rather than getting lost in the endless cycle of questions and speculations perpetuated by mainstream and alternative media, individuals can find solace and direction through spiritual practices. These practices not only help transcend the collective anxiety engineered by societal narratives but also empower individuals to recognize their inherent perfection, contrary to the notion that technological advancements like AI are the ultimate solution.
In her upcoming workshop, "Mary Magdalene: The Alchemist," Dr Joanna explores the deeper connections between The Gospel of Mary Magdalene and the esoteric traditions of Egypt. The discovery of this gospel in Egypt, a land with a rich alchemical history, provides a unique context for understanding Magdalene's teachings. Dr Joanna examines the association of Magdalene with figures like Goddess Isis and Nephthys, who served as hierophants of Ascension for humanity.
Dr Joanna 's dedication to uncovering and sharing the esoteric wisdom of Mary Magdalene at this time offers a transformative path for those like me, currently stuck in my own misery, as well as those seeking higher consciousness. Her teachings invite individuals to delve into the multidimensional realities illuminated in the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, guiding them through the levels of Ascension and empowering them to apply these insights in their personal and spiritual lives. In a world filled with uncertainty and distraction, Kujawa's work stands as a testament to the enduring power of esoteric spirituality and the profound impact of operating from the highest level of consciousness.

I cannot imagine anything I need to do more right now.
More soon xxxx
Magdalene is a powerful archetype and I value Dr. Joanna's perspective. See you in the workshop. We could all use this and it will be great to share in the experience. Much love xxx
I liked the Church of Hermetic Sciences approach of treating Jesus and Mary Magdalene as yogic and tantric roles based on attempts to reconstruct what it would be, if it was about combining or forming a middle ground between the religions and political systems.
