The Most Significant Black Magic Spell in History?
A Scientific Approach to question at hand. Featuring Thomas Sheridan and Mark Stavish.
By gosh we all have different opinions about what happened not so long ago don’t we…
I just got an email from a friend where his opinion was that “I was 100% convinced—and I still am—during the pandemic that the lockdown was a “test run” strictly to collect data and see how everyone “reacted” to this unprecedented event in world history. Now, after having collected all this data, they know how to perfectly “plan” the next Pandemic, the big one, which is coming. “

Now that, some might call, a conspiracy theory…
I must admit, I feel better about the whole idea of being a conspiracy theorist thanks to Thomas Sheridan. Well, to be honest, I would call myself more of a conspiracy hypothesist, but I am splitting hairs… the point being, I really loved pondering the points in Thomas Sheridan's new video on Conspiracy Theory. There is a lot there to pop in my pipe and smoke.
You can watch it here
But smoking on this will have to wait as I am still brewing on a comment that he made on my page..that the events of recent years were the “most significant black magic spell in history”. It is a notion that's been hard to shake off.
So since I am a “conspiracy hypothesist”…I have been wondering if that is true. And if true, what could have been the magick involved?
So before I lay my hypothesis on you, (hypotheses are essentially educated guesses based on prior knowledge or observations that address a particular question or phenomenon) …..let’s define magic. There are also many definitions of magic, but in this context the following two are fruitful. Sir Francis Bacon described it as "a science that harnesses hidden forms for wondrous operations," while Paracelsus deemed it "the greatest wisdom and the knowledge of supernatural powers.”
So then, what form or supernatural power could this magic potentially embody?
In episode 2 of season 4, I delve into a fascinating concept— Egregore, a collective energy or thought form brought into existence by a group's shared beliefs, emotions, and intentions. My friend Mark Stavish's book, which shares the same title, offers illuminating insights into this intriguing phenomenon. Essentially, it represents a form of collective consciousness or psychic entity sustained by the combined actions and convictions of a group. It's crucial to highlight that this phenomenon is inherently collective in nature.
This emphasis is vital because the notion of supernatural influences shaping human behaviour has deep cultural and religious roots, spanning various traditions, including Christianity.
For example the influence of demons or Satan in religious contexts, is often portrayed as more individualized, with encounters depicted as personal confrontations or temptations between the individual and the malevolent entity. These interactions are typically characterized by the demon or Satan targeting individuals directly, seeking to lead them astray or corrupt them on a personal level.
The term "egregore" originates from the Greek word "egregore," meaning "watchers," suggesting an independent existence and the possession of various powers and abilities. While they can serve as sources of inspiration or guidance, they can also become malevolent if the group's intentions are negative.
Fear, a potent emotion, plays a significant role in egregore formation, as shared experiences of fear, focused attention, and reinforcement contribute to their manifestation and influence over a group.
And the best part about egregores is, in occult and esoteric practices, an egregore is believed to be magickal constructs, so now we have our magical form and can build our hypothesis!
So what is my hypothesis then?
That the emergence of an egregore—a collective psychic entity or thought-form—generated by fear and anxiety surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic significantly influenced people's behaviour, leading to changes in social interactions, travel patterns, and purchasing habits.”
Let’s test it shall we?
The Emergence of an Egregore
Egregores can come into being through intentional magical rituals, such as spells as Thomas suggests, or they can emerge spontaneously from collective consciousness. The COVID-19 pandemic is a pertinent example of a situation that COULD create an egregore. The widespread fear and uncertainty surrounding the virus led to a collective sense of anxiety globally. Extensive media coverage, social isolation, and symbolism associated with the virus could readily contribute to the formation of a collective egregore.
Here’s how it might happen:
Shared Experience of Fear: Let's say a group of people share a common fear. This shared experience generates intense emotional energy within the group.
Focused Attention and Belief: As the fear intensifies, the group's attention becomes increasingly focused on the object of their fear reinforcing each other's fears through discussions, rumours, or shared narratives.
Psychic Imprint: The heightened emotional state creates a sort of psychic imprint or resonance within the group's collective consciousness.
Energetic Accumulation: Over time, this psychic energy accumulates and begins to take on a semi-autonomous existence of its own.
Reinforcement and Feedback Loop: As the egregore takes form, it can further reinforce the group's fears and anxieties, creating a feedback loop.
Manifestation and Influence: Depending on the strength and coherence of the egregore, it may begin to manifest in various ways, influencing the thoughts, behaviors, and experiences of the group members. This could include reinforcing feelings of fear, triggering related anxieties, impacting member behaviour in line with the group's fears.
So did we in fact have an egregore on our hands? Well here are the tell tale signs…..
Collective Belief and Influence: One of the key indicators of an egregore is the presence of a shared belief or ideology among a group of people. This belief is often deeply ingrained and shapes the thoughts, behaviours, and actions of the group members.
Rapid Spread and Adoption: Egregores often spread quickly through communities or populations, gaining followers and adherents rapidly. As more people become exposed to the egregore, its influence grows stronger, perpetuating its existence.
Symbolism and Iconography: Egregores are often associated with specific symbols, rituals, or iconography that serve to reinforce their identity and presence. In this case these included:
a. Face Masks:
b. Social Distancing Symbols:
c. COVID-19 Testing Sites:
d. Vaccination Icons:
e. Healthcare Heroes Imagery:
f. Virus Icons:
g. Hand Hygiene Symbols:
4. Feedback Loop and Self-Perpetuation: As the egregore gains strength and influence, it creates a feedback loop wherein the beliefs and actions of the group members further reinforce its existence. This self-perpetuating cycle ensures that the egregore continues to exert influence and shape the behavior of the group.
5. The doozie…The limitation of behaviour. One of the main point Mark makes in his books is that egregores limit our behavior and this does not necessarily mean in a bad way. One example is the concept of "Sangha" in Buddhism.
In Buddhism, Sangha refers to the community of practitioners who support each other in their spiritual journey towards enlightenment. The Sangha serves as a collective entity that upholds the principles of ethical behavior such as non-violence, honesty, and kindness and provides a supportive environment for individual growth and transformation.
The Sangha egregore encourages members to adhere to the precepts of the Buddhist path, which include refraining from harmful actions. It limits….
So to reiterate it is the limiting factor that is important here, and main the tell tale sign that an egregore was in operation.
The next question then, is if there was an egregore, and it looks like there was, did it significantly influence people's behaviour?
Well anecdotally at least we will note the following changes in people behaviour did occur:
Social Distancing and Isolation
Mask-Wearing and Hygiene Practices
Travel Restrictions and Quarantine Measures
Economic and Lifestyle Changes including shifts towards remote work and online shopping.
Healthcare Decision-Making as people were more cautious about seeking medical care for non-COVID-related issues, prioritizing telemedicine or self-care measures to avoid potential exposure to the virus.
Now you might say, sure all of these changes in behaviour occurred but these were because of mandates. But were they? Did we not see individuals policing individuals like never before. It seemed as if people were empowered to operate in ways they never would under normal circumstances. At least that is what I observed. So in my opinion, and I am only a a conspiracy hypothesist, the anecdotal data seems to confirms the hypothesis, indicating a significant relationship between the manifestation of an egregore of fear surrounding COVID-19 and changes in people's behavior, including social interactions, travel patterns, and purchasing habits.
The next question is, if there was an egregore, was it organic or was it created on purpose?
I do not know. All I can do is remind you that Mark Stavish was contacted by societal players who wanted his advice on how to create one….for our good……of course…so let’s assume the best shall we?
Or not?
I think this is the crux of Thomas’ comment. If it was created on purpose, was it created with our best interests in mind or was it black magick? Black magick is defined as the use of supernatural powers, forms or rituals for malevolent purposes such as seeking to doing harm to, manipulate, or control others.
So organically created or not, were people harmed, manipulated or controlled as a result of it? That is for you to decide.
So with no definitive answers why even undertake this thought experiment? Wherein lies the value? The value for me lies in knowing that egregores exist. Seeing, understanding and naming them allows us to recognize their influence, and empowers us to evaluate critically, our participation in group dynamics, as Mark Stavish points our through:
Awareness: The first step is to become aware that egregore's exist and influence. Pay attention to group dynamics, shared beliefs, and the emotions they evoke. Recognize when you're being influenced by collective energies.
Critical Thinking: Cultivate a habit of critical thinking and independent judgment. Question the beliefs, values, and behaviours promoted by the group. Evaluate whether they align with your personal values and goals.
Self-reflection: Take time for self-reflection to understand your own motivations and desires. Consider whether your participation in the group serves your best interests or if it's driven by external pressures or influences.
Setting Boundaries: Establish clear boundaries and limits for your involvement in group activities. Determine what you're comfortable participating in and what crosses your personal boundaries.
Selective Engagement: Be selective about the groups you choose to be a part of. Avoid joining groups or communities that promote harmful or negative beliefs and behaviors. Seek out groups that align with your values and interests.
Mindful Disengagement: If you find yourself in a group that's dominated by an egregore, practice mindful disengagement. Limit your participation in discussions or activities that reinforce the egregore's influence. Focus on maintaining your autonomy and individuality.
Seek Support: Surround yourself with supportive individuals who respect your autonomy and encourage independent thinking. Lean on trusted friends, family members, or mentors who can provide guidance and perspective.
Practice Self-care: Prioritize self-care and well-being to strengthen your resilience against external influences. Engage in activities that promote mental and emotional health, such as mindfulness, meditation, and hobbies.
Sage advice under any circumstance I feel.
So then, was it “the most significant black magic spell in history”? That is for you to decide, but I am comfortable with the idea that, among other things, we had an egregore on our hands, and as far as egregores go, I like Graucho’s approach…
"I don't care to belong to any club (or in this case egregore) that will have me as a member."
In conclusion, the moral of the story is in life there are often multiple perspectives and interpretations of events at play. While we may entertain ideas ranging from conspiracy theories and hypotheses to notions of black magic spells, it's crucial to approach them with critical thinking and open-mindedness, a big ask I know. But exploring these concepts allows us to delve into the depths of human consciousness and societal dynamics beyond the limits of materiality. (Don’t even get me started on the egregore of materiality!) Yet it's equally important to maintain a balance between curiosity and skepticism. Ultimately, understanding the potential influence of collective thought forms or other non material consciousnesses with their own agency, like egregores empowers us to navigate our world with mindfulness, autonomy, and a sense of personal agency.
I believe it's safe to say that we can all agree on that?
Maybe not!

Also, i have friends who met Krishna and Thor, (separately) in a moment of crisis (in hospital) they seemed to be helpful. and neither of them had thought of these beings before, they did not believe, is what i am saying. I think they may be ancestral and follow your family or something. they came un prayed for and unasked to help anyway.
i think the abrahamic religions were a bigger spell. to hide that past, kill the clan system and any sense of identity with the land, isolate people spiritually , making them dependent on the priest class. it seemed clear to me at the time it was black magic tho. it's deeper than covid, however. it is another mass forgetting spell.
