In my pursuit of unravelling the enigmatic essence of ancient Egypt for Season 4 of the Magical Egypt Series, one name reverberates in my mind this weekend: Gordon White. In the unlikely event that you are not acquainted with Gordon White, allow me to introduce him.
Gordon, an individual of remarkable talents and diverse expertise, is a chaos magician, shamanic practitioner, podcaster, author, and permaculture designer. Gordon has woven his knowledge and experiences into the fabric of four enlightening books. These literary works delve into the intricacies of magic, exploring the depths of animism and illuminating the wonders of star lore.
During my visit to Brisbane, I had the privilege of interviewing him, and it was in this engaging exchange that he unleashed a series of thought-provoking ideas, dropping idea bombs that resonated deeply within me. His words captivated my imagination, expanding the horizons of my understanding
Whether you've explored my Magick Works blog or immersed yourself in my podcast, you'll encounter a recurring theme resonating through the digital waves—the perpetual struggle of our materialistic culture to comprehend the profound essence of, let's say, more spiritually-oriented civilizations. Among these, ancient Egypt stands out as a culture deeply immersed in the immaterial realms throughout recorded history. That was quite a lengthy sentence, but trust me, Gordon eloquently articulated this idea with greater finesse. His words echoed the undeniable truth that we inadvertently shield ourselves from grasping the authentic nature of the intentions and actions of our ancient counterparts, obscured by a veil of misunderstanding that weighs heavily upon our collective perception
In a moment of deep contemplation last year, I was struck by the profound realization that this very quandary encapsulates the essence of Schwaller De Lubicz's teachings—the concept of the "intelligence of the heart" or Pharaonic Consciousness.He also posits that to truly comprehend the ancient Egyptians, we must embark on a journey of transforming our thought processes and learn to think as they did, with the wisdom and insight of an ancient Egyptian.

René Schwaller de Lubicz (1887–1961) for those who may be unacquainted with his remarkable contributions has left an indelible mark on the realm of spiritual and cosmological understanding, mainly through his explorations of ancient Egypt.
While his works may be familiar to English readers in varying degrees, it is through texts such as Esotericism and Symbol, The Temple in Man, Symbol and the Symbolic, and the monumental The Temple of Man that Schwaller de Lubicz unravelled the profound insights concealed within the Egyptian civilization.
One of Schwaller de Lubicz's notable contentions, which has garnered renewed interest in recent years through the pioneering efforts of John Anthony West, challenges the conventional timeline proposed by orthodox Egyptologists. Schwaller de Lubicz posited that Egyptian civilization boasts a far more ancient origin than commonly believed. This provocative claim has ignited contemplation and further inquiry into the depths of Egypt's mystical legacy.
The culmination of Schwaller de Lubicz's profound wisdom and extensive research can be witnessed in his magnum opus, The Temple of Man. This monumental work takes readers on a transcendent journey through the intricacies of Egyptian cosmology and spirituality. It unveils the interconnectedness between the human form, the sacred architecture of temples, and the cosmic forces that shaped the Egyptian worldview, one we must attempt to understand to truly fathom the depths of the ancient world.

He invites us to perceive the phenomenal cosmos not only as a whole but also in its intricate parts and unfolding processes. Now, the reason for this article is that the whole notion of "thinking like an Egyptian" resurfaced prominently this weekend when Gordon White shared his blurb with me for the upcoming Magical Egypt Summit. Known for consistently pushing the boundaries of thought, Gordon's talk description deserves careful consideration.
"Tales of lost civilizations and sunken continents have traversed the annals of time. Yet, the act of searching, the act of shedding light upon them, reveals more about our present era than the era that lies buried in history's embrace. It is a question that ignites the fire within, for the path to Pharaonic Consciousness, let alone the realm of Atlantis, is arduous, treacherous even. Yet, anticipating where Gordon's exploration will lead us is tantalizing. By the end of this talk, we can take our exploration even further! Rather than solely adopting the mindset of the ancient Egyptians, we have the audacity to venture one step deeper—adopting the essence of an Atlantean! Go Gordon!
